Support for your next business move

Funding and transaction support.

Whether you need finance for operations, capital for growth or support with a strategic transaction, we help you prepare the financial information and coordinate the work involved.

  • Bank Finance

Prepare for discussions on working capital, term loans or refinancing. Present your funding requirement with financial projections, supporting documents and a clear explanation of how the funds will be used.

Support may include Funding proposals, cash-flow forecasts, repayment projections, lender queries and banking coordination.

  • Private Equity

Prepare your business for equity-investment discussions with a clear growth plan, credible financial information and a well-defined capital requirement.

Support may include Investment-readiness reviews, financial models, investor materials and due-diligence coordination.

  • Mergers & Acquisitions

Assess the financial implications of buying, selling or combining a business. Organise the information, reviews and specialist inputs needed to support informed transaction decisions.

Support may include Financial assessment, valuation support, due diligence and transaction coordination.

  • Joint Ventures

Evaluate a proposed partnership with clarity on its commercial purpose, funding needs and each party’s contribution. Bring financial considerations and responsibilities into the discussions early.

Support may include Partner evaluation, commercial feasibility, financial structuring and coordination of agreed terms.

Build a clear financial picture

Prepare for a productive funding discussion.

A clear requirement and organised information give lenders, investors and potential partners a stronger starting point for assessing your proposal.

  • Clear funding requirement

Define how much funding you need, what it will be used for and when it is required. Explain the business objective, your proposed contribution and the milestones the funding is intended to support.

  • Reliable financial information

Bring together your accounts, current management reports, existing debt and working-capital position. Identify inconsistencies, missing information and unusual balances that need clarification.

  • Credible projections

Prepare forecasts supported by clear assumptions on sales, costs, investment and cash needs. For borrowing, assess repayment capacity; for equity or partnerships, explain how capital supports the business plan.

  • Organised supporting documents

Assemble ownership details, business plans and relevant financial and transaction records. Keep documents consistent, current and organised for the reviews required by the proposed funding or transaction.

The FairStake delivery process

How we move your requirement forward.

From bank finance and private equity to mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, each assignment follows a clear process adapted to the agreed scope.

  1. AS-IS

Assess your funding and transaction readiness

Review your objectives, financial information, existing debt and readiness for bank finance, private equity, M&A or a JV. Confirm our understanding and the key gaps with you.

    Outcome: Confirmed understanding

  2. ROADMAP

    Agree the route and responsibilities

Agree the funding or transaction approach, priorities, deliverables and milestones. Define your team's role, FairStake's responsibilities and any specialist involvement under agreed terms.

    Outcome: Agreed action plan

  3. TO-BE

    Prepare, approve and coordinate

Agree the intended outcome and prepare the financial models, proposals or transaction materials. Obtain your review and approval before coordinating external discussions and implementing agreed actions.

    Outcome: Agreed actions implemented

  4. GAP REVIEW

    Check delivery and outstanding matters

Review delivery against the agreed scope. Track lender, investor or partner queries, identify outstanding documents and decisions, and agree the actions needed to address remaining gaps.

Outcome: Gaps identified and next actions agreed

Your review is built into the process.

We confirm the AS-IS understanding and obtain your approval of the TO-BE plan before implementation. Changes to scope and any additional support are agreed with you.

Before we begin

Your funding questions. Clear answers.

A few helpful answers about our role, the information needed and how we work with you.

Do you support bank finance, private equity, M&A and JVs?

Yes. FairStake provides direct advisory and execution support across bank finance, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures. Where an assignment needs additional expertise, we also work with specialist partners engaged under agreed terms. The scope and responsibilities are defined for each assignment.

Can we approach you before our financial information is ready?

Yes. We can start by reviewing the information you have and identifying what is missing. Depending on your need, this may include financial statements, management reports, cash-flow forecasts, existing borrowing details or a business plan. We agree the preparation work and priorities with you before proceeding.

Can you work with our existing bank, accountant and advisers?

Yes. We can work alongside your finance team, accountant, bankers and other advisers within the agreed scope. We clarify responsibilities, information requirements and communication arrangements so that preparation, queries and follow-ups are coordinated.

Do you guarantee funding approval or a completed transaction?

No. We help prepare your business, assess the financial information and coordinate the agreed work. Funding approval, investment decisions and transaction completion depend on the relevant lenders, investors or counterparties, their assessment and the terms agreed.

Can we engage you for one specific requirement?

Yes. You can start with a defined requirement, such as a funding proposal, financial projections, an investment-readiness review or transaction coordination. Broader support can be agreed where needed. We confirm the scope, deliverables, responsibilities, timelines and fees before work begins.
